Description
The County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services is soliciting proposals from an organization to provide the full scope of services for its Incarcerated Parents Services Program. The program is intended to promote and monitor continued contact between children and incarcerated parents or legal guardians by facilitating family bonding time in conjunction with Department case plans and/or Dependency Court orders. Case management services will coordinate family bonding time. One work order is expected to be awarded. The initial term is one year, from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with up to four additional one-year extension periods at the County's discretion. Proposals must address organizational background and experience, implementation and service approach, data collection and reporting/quality assurance, and cost. The solicitation also requires specified proposal attachments, including the County proposal, cost proposal, pending litigations and judgments disclosure, and—if requesting the applicable preference—the request for preference consideration and Social Enterprise certification approval letter.
