Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a qualified dentist to provide dental services using total intravenous anesthesia or general anesthesia for residents with intellectual and developmental delays. Services include patient evaluations and pre-anesthesia screenings, anesthesia administration and monitoring, and post-treatment reporting. Dental procedures may include fillings, periodontal treatment, root canals, dentures, crowns, oral surgery, and dental implants. Services may be scheduled or provided as needed, at the contractor's office, a designated local hospital, or the facility, depending on patient needs. Bidders must meet the stated experience and licensure requirements and provide three verifiable references for similar contracts performed within the past five years. The response must include the completed pricing sheet and solicitation affirmations, bidder reference and qualifications information, copies of required licenses and certifications, and other applicable response materials. The contract begins upon award and expires August 31, 2027, with a possible extension of up to one year.
