Description
The City is seeking a contractor to furnish labor and materials and perform construction work for Pump Station 11B. Proposals are evaluated on price (60 points), contractor qualifications (30 points), and construction time (10 points). The estimated construction-phase budget is $28 million, and substantial completion is required within 700 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation also requires proposal security of at least 5% of the proposal amount. A performance bond is required if the contract price exceeds $100,000, and a payment bond is required if it exceeds $50,000; both are due from the successful offeror after award.
