Description
Alameda County is soliciting comprehensive healthcare services for the justice-involved population at Santa Rita Jail. The scope includes intake screening, initial health assessments, sick call, chronic disease management, infirmary-level care, emergency and hospital coordination, dental services, pharmacy operations, specialty clinics, laboratory and diagnostic services, dialysis, pregnancy and postpartum care, family planning, substance-use and medication-assisted treatment, HIV services, COVID-19 testing and vaccination, medical equipment, transportation, and interpreter services. The contractor must provide continuous clinical coverage, staffing and operational plans, electronic health-record capabilities, reporting, quality assurance, care coordination, CalAIM reentry services, and support for National Commission on Correctional Health Care accreditation. The County intends to award a three-year contract with an option to renew for two additional years. The bid form shows an illustrative total of $19,353,000 for the three-year pricing period, including $1,353,000 in electronic-record-system fees and $18,000,000 in transportation costs; bidders must complete the County-provided Excel bid form and submit a cost narrative and detailed service, staffing, implementation, and reference materials.
