Description
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is conducting market research for a commercial off-the-shelf financial data subscription and is not seeking a solution requiring development. The requirement includes proprietary financial data available through the Wharton Research Data Services platform, downloadable Lipper hedge-fund data, and a web-based or installed desktop platform providing real-time data, proprietary content, third-party information, retrieval and analysis tools, documentation, and data-field definitions. Required coverage includes analyst estimates and guidance, insider filings and transactions, mutual-fund and institutional ownership, commercial loans and private placements, hedge-fund information, equity and debt new issues, mergers and acquisitions, municipal issues, private equity, global financial and economic time series, standardized financial statements and ratios, SEC filings, equity research reports, public-company events, and company financial, ownership, and governance data. Respondents must submit a cover letter, capability description, completed requirements matrix and questionnaire, and completed price estimate spreadsheet covering one base year and four option years. The SEC also requires confirmation that its intended usage and data-documentation requirements can be supported.
