Description
El Paso Water is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction of the Rene Drive 30-inch sanitary sewer interceptor extension. The work includes approximately 586 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-35 PVC sanitary sewer, 6,877 linear feet of 30-inch SDR-26 PVC sanitary sewer, 23 72-inch concrete manholes, cured-in-place manhole liners, trench safety, connection to an active manhole, temporary septic holding tank installation, sewer service replacement, and removal of an existing manhole and sewer line. The project also includes traffic control, pavement and subgrade reconstruction, curb, sidewalk, driveway, landscaping, irrigation, street-sign and pavement-marking restoration, stormwater pollution prevention measures, utility coordination, and related site work. Addendum 1 clarifies that no sewer bypass is allowed, the future 8-inch sewer main is excluded from this contract, manhole vacuum testing must occur before liner installation, and the contractor must coordinate protection of the existing Magellan gas line. The estimated construction value is $4,840,493.40 to $5,512,784.15. The project duration is 300 calendar days, with substantial completion required within 270 days.
