Description
The contractor will remove and dispose of the obsolete control panel and associated equipment, then furnish and install a replacement controller system for the cold-storage dehumidifier. The work includes a Siemens S7-1200C PLC processor and required hardware, a human-machine interface, communications components, sensors, updated schematics and operating materials, and recommended spare parts. Munters parts and technical support are specified, and installation and startup are to be performed by a Munters/contractor technician. The contractor must verify operation, identify and complete minor repairs needed for the project, and provide updated documentation in digital and hard-copy formats. The scope also includes at least four hours of training for designated USDA personnel. The quotation must include pricing for all schedule items, a technical explanation of how the services will meet the requirements and schedule, any requirements the quoter cannot accomplish, active SAM registration, and the requested business and amendment information. Quotes are evaluated using a lowest-price, technically acceptable approach, with past performance considered.
