ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Pocatello Pocatello, ID General Notice City of Pocatello (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following Project: 2026 OLD TOWN SIDEWALK REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT ROUND 2 Bids for the Project will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall, located at 911 N. 7th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho 83201, until November 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. The City of Pocatello has secured funding for a project that includes full replacement of sidewalks and ADA curb ramps in the Historic Downtown Pocatello to address trip hazards, mobility impairments, accessibility impairments, and other impediments that may inhibit travel along the sidewalk. This project is funded through federal appropriations provided by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and the Pocatello Regional Transit (PRT) Authority. Description
The City of Pocatello is soliciting bids for the 2026 Old Town Sidewalk Removal and Replacement Project, Round 2. Work includes replacing identified sidewalk hazards, non-compliant curb and sidewalk sections, and ADA ramps within the historic downtown project area. The contractor must provide traffic control throughout the project in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and maintain pedestrian access on at least one side of the street at all times. Award will be made to the lowest bidder based on the total unit price for full replacement per the bid schedule. The contract is expected to last one year. The project is funded through Community Development Block Grant appropriations and the Pocatello Regional Transit Authority.
