NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bannock County is soliciting proposals under a Request for Proposals (RFP), pursuant to Idaho Code §67-2806(2), for the purpose of providing a community fireworks celebration at the Event Center Bannock Soccer Fields, Olympus Road in Pocatello, Idaho. The RFP closing date is November 9, 2026, at 11:30 p.m. Any bid received after closing time will not be accepted. The proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud on November 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bannock County Courthouse, Room 119, 624 E. Center St, Pocatello, ID 83201. The County will review the submitted proposals; reserving the right to select from the highest-ranking proposals that address all requirements in the RFP and is most advantageous to the project. Bannock County is not obligated to execute a contract, provide funds or endorse any proposal submitted in response to this RFP. Description
Bannock County seeks a contractor to provide a computer-designed, digitally fired fireworks display with vendor-supplied choreographed music and a grand finale. The show must run 18 to 26 minutes, include a materially distinct program each year, and meet specified safety, licensing, permitting, and pyrotechnic-operator requirements. The contractor must describe the show, its design and effects, safety and qualifications, and relevant experience and references, and provide a separate firm price for each of up to five annual displays. Each annual display may not exceed $100,000. The initial contract covers one annual display, with up to four additional one-year renewals at the County's option.
