Description
The Chicago Housing Authority is seeking a qualified commissioning agent to provide fire alarm commissioning services for eight senior buildings. The scope includes reviewing assessment reports and design documents; developing commissioning specifications; conducting pre-commissioning, component testing, final system commissioning, and integrated testing; verifying communication pathways and monitoring connectivity with the Authority and the City of Chicago Fire Department; reviewing closeout documents; and preparing a final commissioning report with deficiency logs, corrective actions, integrated testing results, and system-readiness certification. Respondents must demonstrate 3–5 years of experience and similar project experience. The response is limited to 10 pages, excluding resumes, the quote form, mandatory forms, and requested exhibits, and must include a narrative response, team identification, approach and work plan, at least three references, and pricing. The quote form requires estimated hours, hourly rates, task totals, and a not-to-exceed project fee. Work includes travel to the various buildings and use of CHA’s E-Builder system for project records.
