Description
The City seeks a contractor to provide armed, uniformed, licensed guards and secure armored vehicles to collect and protect money, checks, and documents from City locations, deliver deposits to the City's bank, and deliver cash and bank change orders to designated sites. Services include scheduled pickups and deliveries, pickup documentation and audit trails, and secure handling and financial responsibility for City property. The estimated budget is approximately $800,000 over a 3-to-5-year term; the City may award one or more contracts. For five parking garages, the contractor must furnish on-site self-counting safes meeting specified FireKing model specifications, including bulk currency validation, counterfeit detection, biometric access, remote reporting and data access, installation, and maintenance. The contractor must also provide deposit processing, verification, and reporting services. The incumbent contract with Garda World runs through December 31, 2026.
