Description
Santa Fe County seeks armored car services to transport currency, coins, negotiable instruments, and other deposit-related documents. The contractor will provide scheduled weekday pickups from the Treasurer’s Office and twice-weekly pickups from the Adult Detention Facility, transporting deposits to the designated bank branch. Services include special and holiday trips, return trips for deposits not ready at pickup, and secure handling by authorized, bonded, armed collectors using an armored vehicle with two-way radio communications. The County is seeking a firm, fixed, indefinite-quantity price agreement for an initial four-year term, with an option to extend up to ten years total, subject to funding. Bidders must submit pricing for the listed trip types and provide $500 bid security. A completed bid package must be submitted in a sealed container; the solicitation also requires double-sided bid documents. Insurance evidence is due upon execution of the agreement, not with the bid.
