Description
Gans Public Schools is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of a dual-purpose heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system sufficient to heat and cool its gymnasium/field house, approximately 25,000 square feet. The contractor must recommend appropriately sized units and provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and related services necessary for a complete, operational installation, including cleanup and debris removal. The work includes site examination, protection of existing facilities, coordination around school operations, compliance with applicable codes, and submission of required inspection and permit documentation. Work is expected to begin no earlier than September 15, 2026, and be completed no later than December 31, 2026, with a $2,500-per-day liquidated-damages provision for unexcused delay. The awarded contractor must provide performance, statutory payment, and one-year warranty bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, and maintain the specified workers' compensation, automobile, and general liability insurance.
