The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from architectural firms for a Center for Health Innovation. The facility will support healthcare education and workforce development and is expected to include maternal, newborn, and pediatric simulation laboratories; an auditorium-style collaborative learning theatre; classrooms; offices; and associated mechanical and technology spaces. The estimated total project cost is a maximum of $15,000,000, including construction, design fees, furniture, fixtures, technology, and equipment. Required professional services include programming, feasibility assessments, graphic presentation, site planning, civil engineering, landscape design, interior design, cost evaluation, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and project closeout. Respondents must provide Arkansas licensure or eligibility information, relevant medical and medical-education facility experience from the past five years, organizational and staffing information, sustainable-design and commissioning experience, current workload information, proof of at least $1,000,000 in professional liability insurance, and a list of projects under contract with state agencies or educational facilities. One hard copy and one digital copy are required, with the digital copy submitted by email.
