Description
This sources-sought notice seeks information from qualified vendors capable of leasing a complete fecal occult blood testing analyzer immunoassay system for the VA Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research CSP 577 trial. The requirement is for an OC-Auto Sensor Diana Analyzer, or equal, manufactured by Polymedco LLC, to support qualitative detection of fecal occult blood associated with colorectal cancer, polyps, and colitis. The anticipated requirement includes one analyzer with annual service, a one-year manufacturer's warranty, extended service after the warranty period, one preventive-maintenance visit per year, service during 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, and no shipping charges for the analyzer. It also includes specified quantities of latex reagent, buffer, wash solution, calibration materials, positive and negative controls, instrument cups, cell cuvettes, sample bottles, collection paper, and bulk mailers. Vendors are asked to provide company, business-size, manufacturing, FSS/GSA contract, country-of-origin, Buy American, and domestic-alternative information. This is market research only and is not a solicitation for competitive proposals.
