Description
Southwest Independent School District is seeking qualified, state-licensed speech therapy providers on an as-needed basis for students with disabilities. Services include speech evaluations and eligibility assessments, development and implementation of speech-therapy Individualized Education Programs, required reports and paperwork, multidisciplinary team meetings, compliance with federal testing and service timelines, and supervision of speech assistants. Therapists must work in person, provide their own transportation, work between 20 and 40 hours per week as needed, follow District standards and approved assessment instruments, and provide license documentation. Assigned personnel who have direct student contact must complete the required background checks before beginning work. The District expects to make multiple awards and rank primary and secondary vendors, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantity of services. The contract period is from September 1, 2025, or the award date, through May 31, 2030. Responses require firm information, service approach narratives, pricing for speech therapists and assistants, client references, project counts, licenses and personnel credentials, sample invoices and service documentation, insurance evidence, litigation or affidavit documentation, certifications, and other required acknowledgments.
