Description
The City of Golden Valley is soliciting a contractor to reconstruct the existing Seeman Park tennis courts. The base bid includes removal of existing fencing, curbs, net-post footings, and court pavement; installation of aggregate base, new concrete perimeter curbs, asphalt binder and surface courses, tennis net posts and center tie-downs, galvanized chain-link fencing and gates, fiberglass and crack-repair systems, acrylic court surfacing, tennis and pickleball striping, and landscaping restoration. The solicitation also includes alternates for resurfacing the adjacent basketball court and sidewalk, and for adding basketball-court striping. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, permits, erosion controls, testing, and site restoration. The work includes specified asphalt, concrete, fencing, court-equipment, surfacing, and quality-control requirements, with final completion required no later than August 15, 2027; paving must be completed by September 30, 2026.
