Description
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking quotes for 10 rolls of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) and 20 bags of granular sodium bentonite for lining an earthen rearing pond. The GCL must meet detailed material and performance specifications, including a needle-punched bentonite layer laminated to a 20-mil textured HDPE geomembrane, specified panel dimensions, and minimum strength and hydraulic performance criteria. The bentonite must meet specified swelling, fluid-loss, granularity, and bag-weight requirements. Bidders must be the product manufacturer or an authorized distributor/reseller with at least a one-year established relationship with the manufacturer, and may be asked to provide supporting documentation. The initial purchase is capped at $35,000 before tax; additional orders are not guaranteed, though future as-needed orders may be placed under the same terms within one year of award. Quotes must include freight and comply with delivery, packaging, labeling, and product documentation requirements.
