Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, seeks services to refine silver-bearing material recovered from batteries. The refined silver must reach 99.9% purity for use in manufacturing new batteries. Annual estimated requirements include 380,000 troy ounces of high-silver-content reutilization, 725,000 troy ounces of low-silver-content reutilization, 500,000 troy ounces of silver account maintenance, and 10 transaction fees; contract data requirements are listed as one lot, not separately priced. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price and fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period, using lowest-price-technically-acceptable procedures. Offers must be submitted electronically through the PIEE Solicitation Module. Offerors need an active PIEE account with Proposal Manager role activation and current SAM registration with completed representations and certifications.
