Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting cast steel grit, itemized as 25/40 grit in a 50/50 pre-mix, with Rockwell C hardness of 50–65. The material must conform to commercial specification SSPC-AB-3 and be supplied in 55-gallon drums weighing 1,700 pounds each. The RFQ lists one line for grit and a separate data line for a certificate of quality conformance; the certificate must verify that the material meets SSPC-AB-3 qualifications. Descriptive literature demonstrating compliance with the specifications is required with the quotation. The supplier must provide delivered pricing, FOB destination, and meet or exceed the required delivery date of December 30, 2026. The RFQ requests a completed quotation form and the completed DFARS provision 252.204-7016. Quotes must also include the requested pricing, manufacturer and business information, and payment-method preference. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside and will be evaluated on a lowest-price-technically-acceptable basis.
