Description
The U.S. Army is conducting market research for underground storage tank testing, maintenance, and repair services at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The requirement covers ten underground fuel storage tanks equipped with Veeder-Root 350+ or 450+ monitoring systems, spill buckets, overfill valves, and related components. The contractor must provide personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other resources needed to perform the work. Annual testing includes probe function, interstitial sensor, tank tightness, automatic tank gauge console, MLD/ALM functions, line tightness, spill bucket, overfill valve, under-dispenser containment/sensor, and STP sump testing. Triennial testing is also required, along with routine and incidental repairs to restore compliance and functionality, including potential repairs to risers, submersible turbine pumps, wiring faults, and probes. Work must comply with Kansas Department of Health and Environment requirements, Kansas Administrative Regulation 28-44-19, and 40 CFR 280.35. Respondents must provide company capabilities, relevant experience, commercial-availability and pricing information, KDHE certification evidence, and recommendations regarding the acquisition and draft performance work statement.
