Description
Hermiston School District 8 is soliciting bids for Category 2 internal-connection equipment and related installation. The requested scope includes five Eaton or equivalent 5,000 VA/5,000 W UPS units; seven Cisco or equivalent switches; 38 antennas, connectors, and related components; necessary software and licenses; and all related components required to provide fully operational configurations. The attached equipment list also identifies Cisco Catalyst 9300 and Catalyst 9500 switches, stacking cables, a Catalyst 9500 network module, and 40G QSFP+ transceiver modules. Bidders must separately identify E-rate-eligible and ineligible charges. Quantities are approximate and may be increased or decreased, and the resulting agreement may accommodate additional sites, site relocations, and changes in quantity or service capacity. The district will consider one-year, multi-year, and agreements with voluntary extension options. Questions must be submitted in writing by October 23, 2026; the materials state that bids must be received on or after November 5, 2026, but do not provide a final bid-submission deadline or submission destination.
