Description
The National Park Service is soliciting proposals for a ten-year concession contract to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail, marina services, and mechanical boat portage within Voyageurs National Park. The amended materials provide responses to questions and revise Exhibit H, the Maintenance Plan. The concessioner will operate and maintain assigned facilities and services, including guest accommodations, food and beverage facilities, marinas, fuel systems, roads, grounds, restrooms, docks, equipment, and historic properties. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, facility operations, environmental compliance, waste management, fire-safety inspections, fuel delivery coordination, and required reporting. The National Park Service retains responsibility for major repairs, component renewal, capital improvements, and specified utility, dock, historic-asset, and fuel-system work. The solicitation remains a ten-year concession opportunity. The amendment states that due dates are unchanged, while the updated notice identifies October 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Central Time as the response date. Electronic proposals must be uploaded through the Service's Microsoft Teams site after the offeror submits a Notice of Intent to Propose; hardcopy proposals and email submissions are not accepted. A hardcopy Offeror's Transmittal Letter bearing an original signature must separately be received by October 22, 2026, at the National Park Service address provided below.
