Description
The Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District is seeking qualifications from firms or individuals to provide ongoing recreational boating concession services, potentially through one or more selected providers. Applicants must hold applicable licenses, be authorized to do business in Florida, and demonstrate sufficient equipment, organization, financial capacity, and relevant experience. The Qualification Statement must address the applicant’s understanding of the District’s needs; proposed equipment and concession area; site, maintenance, marketing, management, staffing, and operations plans; daily and overnight storage; hurricane preparedness; safety and rescue procedures; relevant experience and references; the individual responsible for District meetings and related tasks; and an annual guaranteed minimum concession fee. Questions are due by September 11, 2026, and one electronic copy of the Qualification Statement is due by September 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The highest-ranked applicant will be invited to negotiate a contract.
