Description
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the disposal tipping fee for approximately 600 tons, or an estimated 105 truckloads, of crushed rock contained in wooden crates and buckets. Disposal must occur at a lined demolition and construction landfill within 50 miles of the Department's Lands and Minerals office in Hibbing to prevent possible groundwater contamination. The project is limited to the disposal fee; DNR staff will perform all loading, hauling, and unloading. The unit price must include all costs necessary to complete the disposal work, including labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, permits, fees, taxes as applicable, and incidentals. Award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications, with the State reserving the right to award by item, group, or total. Responses must address the latest solicitation event version and comply with all event attachments and requirements.
