Description
This Invitation for Bid seeks a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to construct security upgrades at the Cerone main entrance. The scope includes approximately 10-foot chain-link fencing with barbed wire; four motorized vehicular swing gates; manual and pedestrian gates; bollards; card readers; an intercom system; CCTV cameras; lighting and light poles; traffic-loop detection; electrical panels; communications and network cabinets; underground and above-ground electrical and communications infrastructure; trenching, conduit, cabling, paving, concrete pads, signage, and related site restoration. The contractor must hold a current California Contractors State License Board license, with Class A or Class B and required C-10 electrical licensing. Bids must include the required bid forms, bid security, subcontractor and SBE information, certifications, and other specified documents. The estimated project value is $690,000 to $935,000, the SBE goal is 18.12%, and the contract term is 180 calendar days commencing on the effective date. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder will be selected.
