Description
This sealed-bid construction opportunity covers Phase 1 renovations and additions to Kepler Memorial Pool. The work includes reconfiguring and reconstructing the existing pool, installing an ADA chair lift, removing the existing kiddie pool, installing new pumps, filters, circulation piping, drains, and pool finishes, constructing a new utility equipment building, connecting water and sanitary sewer services, replacing and expanding the pool deck, building concrete retaining walls, grading, installing artificial-turf seating, improving ADA parking and access, relocating and installing fencing and gates, and related site work. A future kiddie pool and splash-pad facility is expressly excluded from Phase 1. Bid alternates include ornamental security fencing and gates and stone veneer at retaining walls and the interior plaza. Bidders may submit for a General Contract or an Electrical Contract. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements and Commonwealth-funded-project requirements, including Buy American compliance, DBE/SBE prime-contractor compliance, public-works employment verification, accessibility requirements, and other listed certifications. Bid security equal to 10 percent of the total bid price is required at submission. Bids must remain valid for 60 days.
