Description
The City of Brookings is soliciting bids for a single-prime public works contract for Phase 2 of its Wastewater Collection System Improvements project. The work includes Taylor Creek Sewer Pump Station and Force Main, Macklyn Cove Pump Station and Force Main, Beach Avenue Pump Station, Seacliff Terrace Pump Station, miscellaneous pump stations, and demolition of the Mill Beach Pump Station. The anticipated total bid price is between $4,500,000 and $6,100,000, and substantial completion is required within 370 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The project is subject to federal and state prevailing-wage requirements, Davis-Bacon requirements, American Iron and Steel requirements, applicable environmental regulations, Oregon public-works requirements, and Construction Contractors Board registration. Bids must include bid security of at least 10% of the total bid, required certifications and disclosures, and compliance with applicable drug-testing, workers’ compensation, and subcontractor-disclosure requirements.
