Description
The Serve New Mexico Commission and New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions are soliciting applications for 2027–2028 operational AmeriCorps programs. Eligible applicants may propose programs operating solely within New Mexico and may seek cost-reimbursement, education award, or fixed-cost grant funding. Proposed programs must engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions that strengthen communities and must address applicable AmeriCorps and state requirements. Applicants must submit a Notice of Intent to Apply, Readiness Assessment, agency-specific W-9, application, performance measures, budget materials, and other required supporting documentation. The RFA identifies focus areas including Disaster Services, Healthy Futures, Economic Opportunity, Veterans and Military Families, Education, and Environmental Stewardship. Applicants must submit electronically through the Bonfire portal; successful applicants must subsequently enter the final application into AmeriCorps eGrants and complete additional documentation before funding can begin.
