Description
The City of Pomona is seeking informal electronic quotes for specified traffic signal equipment under a five-year agreement. The solicitation lists 21 line items, including conflict monitor units, power supplies, flashers, isolators, load switches, detector equipment, signal heads, pedestrian countdown and push-button equipment, LED signal and arrow modules, a deep-cycle battery, and GPS time-source modules. Quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed; bidders must provide unit pricing, and the City may award all or part of the contract to multiple contractors. Responses must be submitted electronically through PlanetBids as a single PDF attachment, with required forms completed and signed, including the acknowledgment and signature of authorization, minority business questionnaire, statement of non-collusion, indemnification and procurement-practices acknowledgment, three comparable government references from the past five years, Executive Order N-6-22 certification when applicable, and the exceptions sheet. Vendors must meet the specified delivery lead times, register as prospective bidders for this solicitation, acknowledge addenda, and avoid using the City's seal or logo. The solicitation also requires insurance coverage, including general liability, professional liability, workers' compensation, and automobile liability.
