Description
Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District seeks a qualified exhibit designer, fabricator, firm, or team to design and build out a 2025 Interstate LoadRunner trailer as a mobile, walk-through interpretive exhibit. The finished trailer will support staffed events and self-guided visits at schools, trailheads, parks, events, recreation facilities, farmers markets, and community gatherings, presenting outdoor stewardship, trail etiquette, Leave No Trace principles, recreation safety, wildlife awareness, public lands, and Basin Recreation programs. The work includes interpretive and creative design, fabrication, durable interior and exterior finishes, integration of the District-owned trailer and portable power system, installation of two roof-mounted ventilation fans and a District-owned awning, accessibility features where feasible, and trailer pickup and return. The project is a one-time phased effort covering design, District approval, fabrication, build-out, installation, and final acceptance. Proposals must include separate technical and pricing volumes, with the pricing volume using the completed fee/budget proposal in CLIN format. The total proposed cost may not exceed $75,000, and the completed project must be substantially finished by February 28, 2027. The technical proposal must address qualifications, at least three comparable projects and references, key personnel and partners, design approach, project approach and schedule, licensing and insurance evidence or a statement that insurance will be provided before contract execution, and any exceptions. An amendment corrected and expanded the trailer specifications and must be acknowledged in the proposal.
