Description
The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management is soliciting bids from contractors prequalified through its Stage I process for construction repairs at the Department of Natural Resources' Hardware Ranch Visitor Center. The work includes replacement of most exterior siding, interior framing, gypsum board and flooring replacement, electrical and lighting upgrades, minor HVAC improvements, and an additive alternate for carpet demolition, floor leveling, and new carpet installation. The project also involves general maintenance and exterior finish updates, with asbestos and lead-based paint survey information provided for renovation planning. The construction cost estimate is $500,000. A mandatory in-person meeting and site visit is required for prime contractors wishing to bid. The project has a substantial completion date of May 30, 2027, liquidated damages of $500 per day, and requires a 5% bid bond. Bids must be submitted online through the procurement portal, and the subcontractor list must be emailed separately by the stated deadline.
