Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a firm-fixed-price, five-year requirements contract restricted to HATZ Diesel of America or its authorized distributors for Engine Diesel, NSN 2815-01-536-9262, manufacturer part number 1D81C-24VOLT-MMC-SPEC323. Estimated quantities are 90 units in ordering year one, 68 in year two, 68 in year three, 67 in year four, and 67 in year five, for an estimated total of 360 engines. The Government is not obligated to place a minimum order, and orders will be issued for discrete quantities through delivery orders. Authorized distributors must submit documentation from HATZ confirming their authorized status and HATZ's willingness to sell the item for this procurement. Supplies must meet military preservation, packing, marking, unitization, and identification requirements, with inspection and acceptance at origin and delivery to the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Offers must cover the total quantities and include proposed pricing and delivery information; the required delivery schedule begins 150 days after award at a rate of five units per month for each ordering year.
