Description
Foothill Transit is conducting the qualification phase of a two-step procurement for design-build services for the Cal Poly Pomona Mobility Hub. The selected respondents will be pre-qualified and/or shortlisted for a subsequent RFP; this RFQ does not itself award the design-build contract. The anticipated scope includes project management; architectural, engineering, and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates through preliminary, draft-final, and final design stages; permitting; site preparation; and construction. Project elements include ten bus bays, pavement striping, landscaping and hardscape improvements, bus shelters, benches, kiosks, lighting, signage, fencing, surveillance cameras, emergency phones, utility infrastructure, a restricted-access restroom building, driveway closure, two traffic signals and related synchronization, bus-turnaround improvements, and a gravel parking lot for up to 450 vehicles. Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience, identify key personnel and major subcontractors, provide licenses and credentials, financial capacity, bonding and insurance capacity, safety information, and required certifications and disclosures.
