Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking a contractor to provide monthly on-site boiler water treatment, laboratory testing, chemical balancing, inspections, technical guidance, training, and consulting at Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility. The contractor must maintain appropriate chemical levels for steam boilers, condensate, cooling tower, chiller, and hydronic systems; address scale, corrosion, and microbiological control; provide required chemicals, testing supplies, equipment, and tools; and perform monthly testing and treatment services. The resulting purchase order is anticipated to have a one-year term with up to four additional one-year renewals. Services must be scheduled one day per month, with additional testing or treatment available as requested, and urgent or emergency service calls supported within 24 hours. Technicians and assistants entering the correctional facility must pass required background checks and comply with facility access requirements. The quote must include the completed solicitation exhibits and price quote, and a current certificate of insurance is requested with the response.
