The U.S. Air Force is soliciting firm-fixed-price delivery of three Defenshield Mobile Defensive Fighting Position MDFP DS-192-36 systems, or equal products, and three rear swivel-caster sets. Each barrier must provide minimum NIJ Level IV ballistic protection, meet or demonstrate equivalent performance to U.S. Department of State Standard DS-STD-01.01, include an integrated transparent ballistic viewing panel, and measure approximately 36 inches wide by 46 inches deep by 77 inches high. Each system must support rapid all-terrain repositioning on contoured and uneven pavement using oversized ATV-style non-pneumatic or pressure-retaining tires. The barrier and caster assembly must have a black exterior finish suitable for prolonged outdoor exposure; total system weight, including casters, must not exceed approximately 812 pounds. Offers for equal products must meet every salient characteristic and include product literature, ballistic-test documentation, tire specifications, dimensions, weight, finish or coating information, and manufacturer warranty documentation. Delivery is required within 30 calendar days after receipt of order.
