Description
The Bureau of Land Management’s Burns District Office is seeking one firm-fixed-price commercial supply contract for a replacement motor grader. The required machine must meet detailed specifications, including a 200-horsepower minimum engine with a maximum peak rating of 280 horsepower, cold-weather capability, eight forward and at least six reverse gears, powershift or autoshift transmission, six-wheel or all-wheel drive, heavy-duty undercarriage guarding, a 14-foot moldboard, hydraulic rear ripper with three shanks and nine scarifier teeth, front push block, safety lighting and alarms, heated mirrors, rollover-protection cab, climate-controlled operator cab, heated and ventilated premium seat, backup camera, and specified operating controls and technology. Advanced technology requiring a satellite GPS connection is not required. The quotation must include a non-price technical section explaining how the offered product meets the requirements and a completed price schedule. Equal products must clearly identify the brand, make, model, salient characteristics, descriptive literature, and any proposed modifications. The contract is for one motor grader, with delivery required 365 days after award; the stated delivery destination is the Burns District Office in Hines, Oregon.
