Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, is soliciting bids for the Thomas J. O'Brien (TJO) Embankment Repair project in Chicago, Illinois. Work will address deficiencies in the embankments east and west of the TJO Lock and includes earthwork to raise embankment height, clearing and grubbing vegetation, culvert repair, and riprap placement. This procurement is an 8(a) competitive set-aside under NAICS 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a $45 million small-business size standard. The estimated construction magnitude is $1 million to $5 million. Contractors must be registered in SAM and PIEE to access the solicitation and submit a bid. Amendment 0003 extends the bid deadline, and Amendments 0001, 0002, and 0003 must be included with the submission.
