Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking one brand-name International DT466 remanufactured diesel engine assembly for an R-11 aircraft refueler truck. The required engine is a 2005 trimmed DT466 with renewed part number 2596573C92, injector configuration 642011C005, engine serial number range 2000000–2999999, and a 245(ST)–285(HT) horsepower rating. The line item is a firm-fixed-price purchase for one unit. The engine must meet the stated salient characteristics and is restricted to the International brand. Delivery is FOB destination to the 673d Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Quotes are evaluated using a lowest-price technically acceptable approach, with technical acceptability based on compliance with the salient characteristics and consideration of supplier performance risk.
