Description
City Colleges of Chicago is soliciting a job-order contract for electrical improvements at facilities under its jurisdiction. The contractor will provide management, materials, supplies, parts and system components, transportation, supervision, labor, equipment, and related work for individual Job Orders issued after a Notice to Proceed. The scope includes electrical, IT/AV, and low-voltage systems, along with installation and maintenance of security products, access-control systems, turnstiles, and CCTV. The contract has a 60-month base term with one 24-month option, for a potential seven-year duration. Work is performed through the Construction Task Catalog using adjustment factors for normal and other-than-normal working hours; the minimum Job Order value is $25,000, and the base-term maximum value is $5,000,000. Contractors must self-perform at least 51% of total project-site labor hours through the working-foreperson level. Bidders must submit the revised bid form in signed PDF and Excel formats, along with licensing, bonding qualification, M/WBE, ethics, tax, and economic-disclosure documentation.
