Description
This project involves the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer infrastructure in the Hatcher Woods area. The work includes preliminary heavy cleaning of approximately 4,010 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer pipe, lining of that pipe, cementitious epoxy lining of 24 manholes (approximately 216 vertical feet), reinstatement of 42 service laterals, chemical grouting of 42 service connections and 24 manholes, and cutting of 5 protruding taps. The project also includes mobilization and demobilization. Bidders must acknowledge Addendum 2 on the Bid Form, which revises the manhole lining item to specify cementitious epoxy lining. Addendum 1 adds Quadex, LLC as an approved manufacturer and Quadex Structure Guard as an approved product for manhole lining.
