Description
Joliet Public Library is requesting proposals for Category 1 bundled Internet access services consisting of dedicated, synchronous leased lit fiber, an Internet service provider connection, a transport circuit, and a managed router. The requested service must support a minimum bandwidth of 250 Mbps, with the ability to increase capacity to 500 Mbps or 1 Gbps during the contract term and voluntary extensions. Bidders must identify the managed router manufacturer and model, and separately price any installation or configuration required for new or upgraded service. Proposals must identify eligible and ineligible services and associated costs, including taxes and surcharges; provide the bidder's SPIN/498 ID and current FCC Form 473 (SPAC), or evidence of filing; offer SPI or BEAR payment options; and comply with applicable state and local procurement requirements. Award is contingent on E-Rate funding and final board approval, with price as the primary evaluation factor. The current 250 Mbps AT&T leased lit-fiber service expires June 30, 2027, and the requested replacement service is scheduled to begin July 1, 2027.
