Description
The City of Rockford is soliciting bids for labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain specified drainage areas and embankments. The scope includes specialized mowing on slopes of approximately 30 to 35 degrees, conventional turf mowing, string trimming, litter and debris removal, tree, brush, and weed removal, re-grading, seeding, topsoil placement, erosion-control blanket installation, animal-burrow repair, and related site restoration. The contractor must furnish commercial-grade equipment and personnel, including equipment capable of safely mowing steep terrain. The bid includes separate pricing for slope-mowing sites and additional conventional-mowing sites, as well as hourly rates for tree, brush, and weed removal, string trimming, tractor brush mowing, and other maintenance work. Bidders must submit the completed bid form, equipment and personnel information, past experience and three professional references, required City certifications and workforce/subcontractor forms, and the stormwater and addenda acknowledgments. The initial contract runs from award through December 31, 2027, with up to four mutually agreed one-year extensions. One original and one identical digital copy are required; the digital copy is uploaded through the specified ShareFile link.
