Description
The City of Corvallis is conducting mandatory prequalification for general contractors before issuing an Invitation to Bid for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park Enhancement Project. The estimated construction cost is $6,000,000, and only prequalified bidders will be permitted to submit bids. The project includes site grading and stormwater improvements; parking, driveways, plazas, paved paths, crushed-rock trails, a wetland boardwalk, culvert crossings, a playground, water feature and splash pad, sport court, dog park, shade structures, a field-fabricated restroom and pump house, sanitary lift station, water and sewer connections, irrigation, site electrical, planting, and restoration. Contractors must demonstrate relevant experience, satisfactory performance on at least three similar projects completed within the last five years, appropriate resources and expertise, required licenses and registrations, and compliance with applicable public-works, prevailing-wage, environmental, and safety requirements.
