Description
The City of Albany is requesting proposals from qualified governmental affairs and lobbying firms to provide strategic advocacy and representation before the Oregon State Legislature, Oregon state agencies, the United States Congress, federal agencies, and other governmental entities. Proposers may submit for state government relations and lobbying services, federal government relations and lobbying services, or both components. The scope includes monitoring and analyzing legislation, administrative rules, budget proposals, and funding opportunities; developing and implementing advocacy strategies supporting the City's legislative priorities, including transportation and infrastructure funding; maintaining relationships with legislators, congressional staff, and government agencies; and providing regular reporting and legislative tracking. The contract term is two years, with options for two additional two-year terms. The City may award separate contracts, a combined contract, or multiple contracts.
