Description
Lewisville Independent School District is seeking quotes under RFQ #10-2026 for a turnkey replacement of its datacenter core, distribution, edge, and fabric network systems across two active-active datacenters. Vendors may quote a complete Arista system, a complete Cisco system, individual Additional Equipment items, or a combination. Complete-system pricing must include all specified equipment, software, licensing, support, maintenance, implementation, configuration, migration, testing, documentation, training, and related costs. Complete Arista and Cisco options must include all required components; partial bids are permitted only for Additional Equipment. Equivalent products may be considered, but alternate architectures are not requested. The scope includes a new 100G spine/leaf environment; OM4 and single-mode fiber infrastructure; implementation, configuration, baselining, upgrading, tuning, migration, VMware and storage integration, testing, troubleshooting, operational support, removal and relocation of designated existing equipment, configuration backups, DoD-standard data wiping, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Implementation, configuration, migration, tuning, integration, and related services must be performed on-site at both datacenters; design, project management, and documentation may be performed remotely when authorized. The network-management and orchestration solution must be a manufacturer-supported, dedicated physical appliance with high-availability clustering; virtual-machine, cloud-hosted, and software-only solutions are not acceptable. Vendors must provide detailed line-item pricing, identify exceptions or vendor-identified requirements, submit the required District forms and insurance certificate, and quote through an acceptable cooperative purchasing contract.
