Description
The Town of Bedford is soliciting sealed bids for five distinct categories of water materials. These include fire hydrants, cold water meters and related equipment, cement-lined ductile iron pipe with push-on joints, resilient wedge gate valves, and mechanical joint restraints. Specifications for each item are detailed, with particular emphasis on compliance with AWWA standards, lead-free requirements for meters, and specific material and performance criteria for all components. Bids will be awarded separately for each item, and prices must remain valid for one year. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award contracts in its best interest.
