Description
The City of Grants Pass is seeking a contractor to replace approximately 12 feet of 8-inch sewer pipe at a depth of 16 feet, install one new 8-by-8-by-4-inch sewer service wye, and reconnect an existing 4-inch PVC sewer service lateral. The City will supply the 8-inch and 4-inch couplers, wye, fittings, and PVC pipe; the contractor must furnish the required labor, equipment, materials, and services. Locates have been completed within the construction scope, and no construction drawings are provided. Proposers must be prequalified for the applicable temporary features and appurtenances, road work, drainage, and sewer classifications. This is a non-prevailing-wage project. The work must be completed within 10 days after written notice to proceed. A proposal bond is not required, but the awarded contractor must provide a current business tax certificate, public works bond, and maintenance bond before or during the applicable contract stage.
