Description
The City of Medford is soliciting bids for storm drain and roadway improvements on Kings Highway from Shafer Lane to Crooked Creek. The work includes storm sewer and irrigation pipe installation, manholes and inlets, trench excavation and backfill, utility coordination, pavement removal and asphalt restoration, traffic and erosion control, pavement markings, seeding, and related roadway construction. Bids must be submitted as paper hardcopies with ink signatures; electronic bids and electronic signatures are not accepted. The bid package includes required certifications, schedules, signature documents, prevailing wage documentation, residency certification, and first-tier subcontractor disclosure. A bid guaranty is required for paper bids as either a surety bond or cashier's/certified check; a surety bond must use the agency's standard form, include original signatures and the surety's seal, and be issued by a surety authorized in Oregon. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, required insurance, and a City of Medford business license before performing the work.
