Description
The City of Avon Park is soliciting electronic sealed bids from qualified, professional heavy-duty towing, recovery, and transport contractors. Services will be provided to various City departments on an as-needed, if-needed basis throughout the city, and successful bidder(s) may be called upon by any department at any time during the agreement term. The bid package includes the City’s standard terms and conditions, Bid Form, Specifications, and required certifications and disclosures, including Scrutinized Companies, Public Entity Crimes, Drug-Free Workplace, Conflict of Interest, E-Verify, and Public Records acknowledgments. No bid bond is required. A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams, and bids will be publicly opened via Microsoft Teams.
